ABOUT ME

Serkan Sürek was born in 1973 in Turkey. He has been a geography teacher in Northern Cyprus since 1997. He lives in Famagusta. He is married and has two children. He started drawing cartoons when he was a kid. His first caricature was published in Yeni Asır, the local newspaper of İzmir. Since 2003, his cartoons have been published in many newspapers and magazines in North Cyprus. He is a member of Cyprus Turkish Cartoonists Association and FECO Cyprus. The cartoonist has 5 international awards.

Today, Serkan Sürek, who draws cartoons and humor stories in the humor magazine of Tantana, and also teaches young people about cartoons and humor.
